• Acoustics – Russell Timber’s Premium Performance Acoustic range provides outstanding acoustic properties and can be configured to achieve noise reduction of up to 58db at a U-value of 1.2 W/m²K for timber or alu-clad. Includes a full range of top and side hung Fully Reversible windows and Tilt & Turn windows.
• Products have been tested for Air Permeability, Water Tightness and Wind Resistance, plus resistance to racking, static torsion, repeated opening and closing, and to load bearing capacity of safety devices and operating forces.
• All fully reversible windows use the Spilka hinge, which has undergone extreme testing by Spilka. It is a high quality, durable, and secure component with a smooth operating system.
• Warm Edge – The energy efficiency of our range of windows is boosted by Warm Edge Technology from Super Spacer and Swisspacer. Warm edge spacer bars improve the life span of the glazing unit by reducing the risk of cold bridging through the glass unit and thus condensation.
• Every door and window and every component in them is uniquely coded and logged on our Total Traceability Database – a detailed database showing exactly where every one of your doors and windows has been installed, even if you choose to install them yourself.

Our window systems are available in our standard range of colours as well as the full range of RAL Classic colours. Timber elements come in white (RAL 9010) as standard but are available in the full range of RAL Classic colour pigmented finishes and clear lacquers.

Powder coatings on our aluminium products are also available in the full range of RAL Classic colours as well as metallic and anodised finishes. Powder coating is available to Qualicoat Class 1 and Class 2.

Timber coatings are environmentally friendly, water-based formulations with low odour and no solvents. Paints are applied using electrostatic wraparound robotic technology, giving optimum protection whilst reducing waste.

RTT hardware is offered in chrome, gold anodised (GAA), white, and silver anodised (SAA) finishes – with silver anodised (SAA) being the norm.
