At Merrielands Crescent in Dagenham, Russell Timber Tech contributed to the delivery of a landmark residential development that has transformed a former brownfield site into a thriving new community.
Developed by Clarion Housing, the award-winning scheme – from architects KSS – forms part of the regeneration of a disused Ford industrial site, bringing high-quality homes and commercial space to the area.
Comprising 327 residences alongside retail units over five blocks, Merrielands Crescent demonstrates how impactful design can create lasting value for residents and the wider community.
Design and Collaboration
Working closely with the project team, Russell Timber Tech delivered bespoke timber and alu-clad windows and balcony doors, as well as prominent curtain walling that includes secure access aluminium doors with maglocks.
The development’s carefully considered façade combines durability, thermal efficiency and visual appeal, helping to create a distinctive identity alongside a high level of performance.
Scope of Works
Russell Timber Tech was responsible for delivering a comprehensive package of high-performance glazing and door solutions across the development.
The scope of works included:
- Fully Reversible timber and alu-clad windows
- Balcony doors
- Curtain walling including:
- Ribbon windows up to 10 storeys
- Aluminium entrance door sets achieving LPS-1175 and STS-202 standards
